Longview won the District 12-5A Championship.

* 09.02 vs West Monroe was played at Independence Stadium in Shreveport, LA.
** 10.05 at Lufkin was played on Thursday due to the game being on Fox Sports Net.
*** Bi-District match up vs Dallas Bryan Adams was played at E.H. Hanby Stadium in Mesquite.
**** Area match up vs Garland was played at Texas Stadium in Irving.
/ = 5th annual Green Out game.

I really don't know how we won half the games we did this season. So completely opposite of 2004 and 2005 of just being able to out talent most of our opponents.

Those two games vs the Mesquite schools at Memorial that season were two of the best games I've seen since Longview entered the Metroplex district.

Still bitter that we didn't win that Garland game. Had it in our hands and just gave it away.
