For the first time in school history, Longview will participate in a 7 on 7 SQT in Tyler on June 16th. Other teams that will compete includes:
Tyler Lee
John Tyler
Lindale
Whitehouse
Jacksonville
Marshall
Sulphur Springs
Lufkin
Terrell
Denison
Waco
Arlington Lamar
Rockwall
Should be a fun one.

TexasHighSchoolFootball.com no longer supports team threads. I thought hard about going back over there, after spending so much time over there in the mid 2000s. Just isn't the same place. Webmaster doesn't update regularly and there just aren't active posters over there to make it a fun forum to be apart of. Am hoping 5A stays up, but even if it does, rather come here and talk about football with just Longview fans than constantly be attacked or have to go on the offensive on Smoaky. |

Definitely won't be letting the trolls roam here. Don't mind fans of other teams coming here and talking some good talk, but the likes of Lion70 and team aren't welcome here at all.

From the paper...scores were:
Longview 49 Beaumont Central 30
Longview 39 Whitehouse 20
Longview 51 Sulphur Springs 19
Semi-Finals: Longview 32 Lindale 26
Shocked that Sulphur Springs didn't put up a bigger fight with as good as their offense usually is.

Did anyone actually attend? I would like to know how BCIII was connecting with his guys. I realize they scored often, I mean are they coming together as a unit?

His accuracy was just unbelievable along with his vision of the field. Jeter, Leonard, Hasty, King, Spady, Sanders and Lawson all caught passes. Caraway even completed a couple of chain moving tosses to a Freshman stud by the name of Shaun Lloyd.  |
