Longview vs Henderson - Lobo Athletic Field - November 11th, 1931 - via Dallas Morning News
Preview
Longview Hi points for Henderson crew With their third district victory behind them, the Longview Lobos are being groomed for an Armistice Day tilt with the Henderson eleven here on Wednesday afternoon at 2;30 o'clock on the Lobo athletic field. Although the Rusk County eleven does not rate to defeat the Loboes, the rivalry between the two teams is at a high pitch and records mean little or nothing when they clash. The local team is still smarting under the 13-to-0 defeat handed out last year but he Henderson outfit.

Longview vs Rockwall - In Rockwall - December 4th, 1931 - via Associated Press
Loboes Go Down Scoring on the fourth play of the game and adding two more touchdowns, the Rockwall High School Yellowjackets beat the Longview Loboes 20 to 6 today in a class B bi-district fray. The crowd was estimated at almost 3,000. The fighting Jacket linemen outplayed their heavier opponents, opening holes for the backs to slip through. Longview's touchdown came in the last minute of play on an interception pass after J.A. Wilkerson, Rockwall coach, had sent in the substitutes. Rockwall will meet McGregor for the regional title.
