IMO, I think they have a bigger ax to grind than they did last year. They really want the district championship.......coming from some articles I have read.

Folks around the Horn program really want the elusive 12-5A title and they always play Longview tough. Add in the fact that we play Horn in Mesquite this year. But let's not overlook Mesquite or Rockwall-Heath.
Mesquite returns 13 players from a team that went to the regionals. Heath returns 11 after also advancing to the regionals.

But let's not overlook Mesquite or Rockwall-Heath. Am interested to see how both these teams are next season. Mesquite should build off their surprise of a season. Think Heath will probably squeak in as the 4th seed and will be interesting to see how they respond to the 5A level. |
