Anyone coming down for this? I do know that Lufkin will be staying at my hotel so I will make sure the ice machines and the a/c units are broke, their alarm clocks will go off every hour on the hour, and breakfast will be served cold... ice cold ;D

The Lobos beat Edcouch 32-28, but in reality it should ahve been more like 38-14. Edcouch got a late late TD on a play that the defense basically quit on. Ah well. A win is a win.
EE beat Jersey Village something like 67-23 in the first game, so Longview should make quick work of Jersey Village.
Our defense has a LOT of speed and on offense Bivins, aside from a few bad throws, is on the money. Too many dropped passes for my liking, but even so, we've won 2 games, both handily.

Desoto defeats Longview 40-20. SLC was blown out earlier and LT barely beat Edcouch. 7 on 7 really doesn't mean much but nice run, being it was their first state tournament.

Great first showing. Longview destroyed Wichita Falls Rider in their first Championship game, 45-18. 4-1 in our first State Tournament is pretty damn good.
