Why is DeSoto ALWAYS ranked above us? I realize that these polls are just a bunch of guesses and predictions, but they are always ranked higher than we are and have never beat us.

Not only have they ever beat us, we always perform better than Desoto in the playoffs. I use to question the AP, but that was before I realized that the AP is just a bunch of DFW homers making rankings.

I dunno what those guys are thinking.

They're not thinking. They pick the same teams every year (for the most part) and stick to their home areas. 3/4ths of the people that vote in those things have never seen the teams they're ranking (outside of their home teams obviously).
