Substitute QB leads Carthage A third team quarterback was the hero of the Longview-Carthage game Friday night as Larry Ritter sparked his team to a hold the highly-appraised Longview Lobos to a one touchdown victory. First and second team quarterbacks were out with fractures. Larry, who had been handling quarterback duties for only one week, took charge of the Bulldogs like an experienced field general. A non-letterman, he led his Canine Chargers to 9 first downs and 161 yards. Four passes were attempted by none were completed.
